It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Margene Anderson, founder of Dance-Scene, in Fall 2026. For more than 30 years, Margene shared her love of dance with countless students, teaching all kinds of social dance and creating a welcoming place for people to learn and enjoy themselves. Teaching was a true passion for Margene, and she took great joy in sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with every student who came through her doors. She always said: "I don't teach dance; I teach success." Even when people said they had two left feet, they finished with confidence and the ability to dance. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by the many people whose lives she touched through dance.
